Use the one-click installer for Steam Deck or Linux. For Raspberry Pi, choose the ready-to-flash image that matches your display.
On Steam Deck, switch to Desktop Mode before downloading. Open the installer, approve the execution prompt, and leave it open while it downloads the complete release.
Run the desktop installer once. It downloads the complete Tater Tube release without sudo and asks Steam to add Tater Tube to your non-Steam library.
Pick the image for your display, flash it to an SD card, and boot the Pi. Tater Tube starts automatically.
For North American/Japanese CRTs using composite video through the Pi 4 AV jack.
For PAL CRTs. Same app defaults, with PAL composite output configured at boot.
For modern HDMI screens. The image uses the display's preferred EDID mode.
